We are back for another great year and another wonderful season ahead with fantastic prizes and opportunities for screenwriters of all levels to advance their career.

Since 2009, Fresh Voices has distinguished itself as a screenplay competition designed to discover, empower and promote the next generation of screenwriters. As such, Fresh Voices has consistently identified writers with a unique and memorable voice that demands to be read. Now in our 9th year, we are proud to have helped guide dozens of talented screenwriters to secure literary representation, option agreements and other work-for-hire writing assignments that have been the stepping stones to significant careers.

This year, Fresh Voices is pleased to offer over $20,000 cash & prizes. HOLLYWOOD, CA. April 9, 2018   Australian native, Jerome Velinsky, took the Grand Prize Award of the 8th Annual Fresh Voices Screenplay Competition this week for his dramatic thriller, THOSE WHO HEAR. The screenplay also won the Spotlight Award for Best Role Written for a Female Lead.

Jerome is an award-winning writer/ director/ actor from Melbourne, Australia.
