RULES & ELIGIBILITY

RULES:

  1. Screenplays should be submitted with a title page. Name and other personal information are optional.
  2. Scripts must be saved and submitted as a PDF document.
  3. The title of the  PDF document must be saved in the format (Screenplay Title by Author First and Last Name) For Example - A Beautiful Mind by Akiva Goldsman).
  4. Submissions are accepted via electronic submission only.
  5. There is no limit to the number of projects you may submit.
  6. Entries must be received on or before the deadlines and payment made in full at time of the submission.
  7. All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be optioned or owned by the entrant at the time of submitting.
  8. Adaptations are ineligible unless the underlying rights are owned or the work is in the public domain.
  9. Material written by writing teams must be submitted by one of the writers, with consent of the other.
  10. If a writing team is chosen as a winner, prizes will be given to the person who submits the project. Each team is responsible for dividing or sharing the prize money.
  11. Each applicant will receive an e-mail notifying them of the competition results.
  12. Substitutions of corrected pages or new drafts of the entered material are not allowed, unless formally resubmitted.
  13. It is recommended that original material be registered with the WGA or The Library of Congress before submitting to any competition.

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. All unproduced screenplays written in English are eligible.
  2. All ages from anywhere in the world are eligible.
  3. All material submitted to other competitions or contests are eligible.
  4. There are no requirements as to when the material was written.
  5. The material submitted must not be published or produced prior to entering the competition.
  6. Any submitted work that is published or produced between the time of submission and the end of the judging period will no longer be eligible.
  7. Material should be submitted in its proper format, font, spacing and margins.
  8. Feature Screenplays longer than 130 pages will not be eligible. TV Screenplays longer than 80 pages will not be eligible. Shorts Scripts longer than 30 pages will not be eligible.
  9. Previous Grand Prize Winners, clients of Attraction Entertainment and employees of Fresh Voices past or present, are not eligible to enter.
