JUDGING PROCESS
All submissions are split into two categories; Feature Film Pitches and Television Pitches.
All material is read by our small team of in-house readers and development experts to ensure transparency and a consistent judging process.
Our sponsor, Attraction Entertainment, will also read and judge the final round of pitches.
No ideas or pitches are shared with anyone outside of our team.
- There are three phases to the judging process and one judge never reads the same pitch twice.
- The first phase selects a 'long list' of the highest scoring pitches, approximately the top 10% of all submissions.
- The second phase adds the scores with the previous round and 'short lists' the 10 highest scoring submissions.
- The third and final stage of judging will be in conjunction with Attraction Entertainment, who will assess each pitch according to the same scoring process. The score will be added to the scores of the previous two rounds and the highest scores will be named the Grand Prize Winner, First Place, Runner-Up and Honorable Mentions.
