There is no way to compare an action adventure to a period romance and 1/2 Hr Sitcoms are inherently differently than 1 Hr Procedurals.
Fresh Voices offers 9 Competition Categories for feature films, TV Pilots and Short Scripts. Each category is judged seperately and according to the merits of the genre/ format, maximizing each contestants chances of winning.
Fresh Voices also offers 10 Spotlight Awards highlighting various acheivments in screenwriting. (see below)

**Best Role Written For A Male Lead** Seeking great characters sure to appeal to A list actors.
**Best Role Written For A Female Lead** Seeking great characters sure to appeal to A list actresses.
**Best On Screen Chemistry** This award celebrates the Most Dynamic Duo. This could be a Buddy Movie, Romantic Coupling or a Hero and his Nemisis.
**Best Dialogue** Dialogue is the driving force of film, but one of the hardest things to pull of successfully. We are looking for dialogue that jumps of the page, is snappy, filled with memorable one-liners and feels natural and organic to the characters.
**Best First 10 Pages** The first ten pages of a script can make or break a script. It is prime real estate. They story, the characters and the journey must be introduced and hook your audience within the first ten pages.

**Best Foreign Script** This Award highlights the international scope and vision of screenwriters around the world!
**Diversity & Inclusion Award** This award promotes diversity and inclusion on screen. We spotlight screenplays where the main character or a majority of characters are under represented in cinema.
